Your AI assistant uses the vault without seeing a single secret

Lumen Pay's team asks an AI assistant, connected through the QuantumAPI MCP server, to check the vault, encrypt an IBAN with the payments key and rotate a signing key. When it tries to decrypt, the vault refuses: its API key has no decrypt scope. Every action shows up in the audit log, and no secret value ever reaches the model.
